Their work stems from constant research on new theatre forms that are both intellectual and accessible to all. Their pieces are inspired by works that were not created specifically for the theatre, like documentaries (<em>Soup\u00e7ons<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Une femme sans histoire<\/em>, J-X de Lestrade), manga (<em>Quartier Lointain<\/em>, Taniguchi), novels (<em>Oblomov<\/em>, Goncharov), travel narratives (<em>L\u2019Usage du monde<\/em>, N. Bouvier), films (<em>La maman et la putain<\/em>, J. Eustache ;\u00a0<em>Voyage \u00e0 Tokyo<\/em>, Ozu ;\u00a0<em>Le Dernier M\u00e9tro<\/em>, F. Truffaut), autobiographical narratives (<em>Laterna magica<\/em>, I. Bergman) or newspaper clippings (<em>Tous les po\u00e8tes habitent Valparaiso<\/em>, 2023). In addition to creating their latest piece, they have experimented with new dramatic constructions this season by implementing a participatory writing process with people living in the cities where they do their artists\u2019 residencies. The company has been associated artist with the Com\u00e9die in Geneva (directed by Anne Bisang), the Th\u00e9\u00e2tre Vidy-Lausanne (with Ren\u00e9 Gonzalez) and they have been in a residency in Th\u00e9\u00e2tre Forum Meyrin since 2014 \u2013 a rich and fascinating collaboration which will end in 2023. In France, Compagnie STT is currently associated with Maison de la Culture in Bourges and MAL in Thonon-\u00c9vian.
