She was an actress and instructor in Paris before she joined the Lausanne la Manufacture school in 2009. In 2013, Charriot was commissioned by the Michalski Foundation to direct Slawomir Mrozek <em>La s\u00e9r\u00e9nade<\/em>, and in 2014, she adapted Virginie Despentes\u2019<em> King Kong\u00a0Th\u00e9orie<\/em>\u00a0for the stage. The show was very successful internationally (in Belgium, France, Switzerland and Germany) and it was part of the first edition of S\u00e9lection Suisse en Avignon. She directed\u00a0Tch\u00e9khov\u2019s <em>Ivanov<\/em>\u00a0in l\u2019Arsenic and she was awarded the Leenaards\u00a0Fellowship in 2018. She directed Antoine Jaccoud\u2019s <em>Le zoophile<\/em>, as well as Annie Ernaux\u2019s <em>Passion simple<\/em> and\u00a0Peter Handke\u2019s <em>Outrage au public<\/em>\u00a0and <em>Vocation in <\/em>Th\u00e9\u00e2tre Vidy-Lausanne. She created a German version of Claudine Galea\u2019s <em>Un sentiment de vie<\/em>\u00a0for Theater Basel, and she did a French version with Val\u00e9rie Dr\u00e9ville for Th\u00e9\u00e2tre National de Strasbourg and in Vidy. This piece was reprised in Paris (Bouffes du Nord) the following year.
