In a carefully composed landscape of shapes and colors, this fantastical animal turns out to be a painting horse. A strange presence, wild and peaceful, which invites us to free our gaze, and form a sensitive relationship with the world, letting our creativity run free. A totem, beautiful like a carnival, under which three humans strive to tune in to their various rhythms, their movements, and, with more difficulty, their discourse. As autonomous entities, heads, trunks and tails sometimes split off and disappear in the wings. Other times, bodies lay down their masks and start having pointless debates. When the world seems to have gone astray, the horse interrogates our humanity from its joyful height. There is no emphasis in this whimsical and poetic gesture, which, like all Old masters pieces, associates bodies, objects, images, texts, music and light as one endeavor. For the past ten years, Sarah Andr\u00e9, Marius Schaffter and J\u00e9r\u00f4me St\u00fcnzi have been inventing visual and theatrical forms together, to share a new way of imagining the world. D\u2019autres fois, les corps posent leurs masques et se lancent dans de vains d\u00e9bats. Quand le monde semble avoir perdu sa boussole, le cheval interroge notre humanit\u00e9 de toute sa hauteur joyeuse.\r\nAucune emphase pourtant dans ce geste plein de po\u00e9sie et de dr\u00f4lerie qui, comme toutes les cr\u00e9ations d\u2019Old masters, associe corps, objets, images, textes, musique et lumi\u00e8re d\u2019un m\u00eame tenant.
