For their tenth anniversary, S\u00e9lection suisse en Avignon and \u201cles In\u00e9dits th\u00e9\u00e2tres\u201d in the francophone Swiss daily newspaper Le Courrier <\/em>are coming together for a common project: the publication of \u201cTen years, ten texts, ten authors\u201d.
\nEver since it was first created, S\u00e9lection suisse en Avignon has been defending vibrant contemporary creation and the place of authors in the world of theatre and performance. This commitment is notably illustrated in the partnership (until 2023) with \u201cLes Intr\u00e9pides\u201d \u2013 a project devised by SACD \u2013 which brings together six French-speaking female authors to work on a commissioned piece about a specific theme. This commitment echoes that of Le Courrier<\/em>, which publishes every summer a selection of never-published excerpts by Swiss or Switzerland-based authors. From this collaboration, a selection of ten texts has emerged: it reflects the diversity of these writers\u2019 styles, sensitivities and outlooks. An invitation to circulate written texts between the page and the stage, and to reassert their necessity. These texts, which are formally very different, share a common impetus: to explore contemporary voices which place the body, sexualities and memory at their core. Cet engagement fait \u00e9cho \u00e0 celui du Courrier<\/em>, qui publie chaque \u00e9t\u00e9 des extraits de textes in\u00e9dits d\u2019auteur\u00b7ices suisses ou r\u00e9sidant en Suisse.\r\nDe cette rencontre est n\u00e9e une s\u00e9lection de dix textes, reflet d\u2019une diversit\u00e9 de plumes, de sensibilit\u00e9s et de regards. Une invitation \u00e0 faire circuler les \u00e9critures entre la sc\u00e8ne et la page, et \u00e0 r\u00e9affirmer leur n\u00e9cessit\u00e9. Ces textes, tr\u00e8s diff\u00e9rents dans leurs formes, partagent un m\u00eame geste : explorer les voix contemporaines qui mettent le corps, les sexualit\u00e9s et la m\u00e9moire au centre<\/span>.
