In <em>L&#8217;\u00c9v\u00e9nement<\/em> (<em>The Event<\/em>), speech is not just at the core of the performance, speech IS the performance. In this polyphonic piece for three performers, Jo\u00eblle Fontannaz explores the question of the collective through the ancient Greek form of the chorus, revisited in a surprising, funny and subtly orchestrated narrative. Fontannaz questions the nature of the collective and its political dimension through theater, where the text, largely improvised according to a very precise framework, is performed anew with each iteration. Through prosody, space, lighting and costumes, she takes us from an ordinary, very contemporary situation to a mythological dimension that questions our humanity \u2013 from the trio of scouts to the myth of the cave and back again, always on the edge. On stage, Fontannaz performs alongside Mathias Glayre and Nina Langensand. Avec le rythme des mots, avec l\u2019espace, les inflexions de la lumi\u00e8re et les costumes, elle nous fait passer d\u2019une situation ordinaire, tr\u00e8s actuelle, \u00e0 une dimension mythologique questionnant notre humanit\u00e9 ; Du trio de scouts au mythe de la caverne et inversement, toujours sur le fil. Au nombre des interpr\u00e8tes, Jo\u00eblle Fontannaz affirme une belle compl\u00e9mentarit\u00e9 avec Mathias Glayre et Nina Langensand.
