Antoinette Rychner is a Swiss author born in 1979 who graduated from the Literary Institute. She writes plays and prose. Her published plays include Intimité Data Storage (Les Solitaires Intempestifs, 2013), Arlette (Idem, 2017), Pièces de guerre en Suisse (Idem, 2019).
Her first novel, Le Prix, (Buchet-Chastel, 2015) was awarded the Swiss Literary Prize in 2016. Her second novel, Après le monde, was published in 2020 with Buchet-Chastel (paperback Harper Collins, 2022). It was very much talked about in the media and sold very well in bookstores. Rychner also produces stage performances as well as literary ones.
