Marion Duval

Marion Duval first trained as a dancer and then turned to theatre and clown performances; she graduates from the Manufacture in Lausanne in 2009. She created the Chris Cadillac Company in 2011, and created shows like Las Vanitas, Claptrap, Cécile, Avant la retraite (Thomas Bernhard, with Camille Mermet and Aurélien Patouillard) and most recently Le spectacle de merde. She also created family-friendly pieces with Aurélien Patouillard (Hulul, Farwest), and she sometimes dances in pieces by Marco Berrettini (IFeel3, Sorry do the tour, again !). A quick-witted free spirit, Marion Duval’s theatre laughs at its own conventions to fiercely interrogate the unsayable, pathos and phantasms we all carry within ourselves.
